3 Books I’m Reading This October

Our road trip has come to a close, so (hopefully) I should be able to start putting out more Blogtober posts now. Somehow, I’d imagined this road trip as a chance to get lots and lots of writing done, but as I mentioned in an earlier post, I’ve been sick pretty much the entire time. Combine that with 5 to 9 hours of driving a day, and I’ve been too exhausted to do much more than squeeze out a few freelance projects. May Reading List

I’ve got a pretty varied line-up of books this month, and I couldn’t be more excited! Finding reading time is becoming more difficult as Clark gets older, so I’m not able to finish books off quite as quickly as I could when I was feeding him ’round the clock with nothing to do but sit and read. September Reading List The Great Hunt: The Great Hunt is book two of one of my favorite series of all time. I’m doing an “Elevenses” post about book one soon, and ever since I finished Eye of the World, I’ve been chomping…

5 Books You Should Read in 2016

In keeping with my unintentional theme this week, here are five books you should read this year! I love to read, and I love book suggestions, so I thought I would put together a list of my own. These books here are just a few of my favorites. 1) For any Lord of the Rings fans out there, I would really recommend picking up a copy of the Silmarillion. It’s a tough read–in fact, there were times I didn’t think I would make it all the way through! In the end, however, I’m glad I did. The depth that Tolkien put into his world is absolutely breathtaking. For those of…
