Better with Lace

I’ve been MIA for a couple of weeks, and I’m sorry. I’d lay down a cartful of excuses…but honestly? I don’t have any. Not a single one. It just happened. The good news though, is that I’m back and ready to start over! We all need a little restart every now-and-then, right?

I’d been planning this particular outfit in my head for several days, but I’ve been feeling pretty sick the last few days, so getting out of my pjs was definitely not going to happen. I had to dress up for Sunday night Mass though, so I thought I’d give this ensemble a try!

The whole look was rather bland until I added my new camel coat and my favorite lace scarf. Everything really is better with lace, I think! The scarf took this outfit to the next level and helped my boyfriend jeans (also seen here) and bulky coat to look more feminine. Overall, I’m glad I drug myself out of bed to pull this look together. This combo was a win in my book! I’ll definitely be wearing it again.
